"I’m in!"

Today is a fantastic knitting day, as I received an email accepting my submission for the fall issue of Knitty. ๐Ÿ˜€ I’m particularly flattered since it is the first pattern I have ever designed. And now I also have a compulsion to knit a second one of the item (a sweater), to see if it needs any slight modifications. Hm. *fidgets*

Last week I finished a baby sweater for a friend, and hope to get some pics up soon.

Current Works-in-Progress include:

*A Honeymoon camisole in Elann’s Luna cotton blend, in Raspberry Wine. I’m loving the colour, so I hope the thing fits well when I’ve got it done ๐Ÿ˜‰

*A Ravenclaw-coloured Quidditch sweater, zippered-cardigan style, using Highland Wool in Ink and Light Grey heather, in a pattern of my own design. I’ve come to a stalling-point on it because I’ve run out of the Light Grey and they’re out of stock, so…Hrm. At the moment it’s missing 1 sleeve, so hopefully the yarn will be re-stocked soon.

*A pair of ‘Cabled Rib’ socks from Interweave Knits, using Patons Kroy socks in a twisted navy/green blend. The poor things have sat unattended in quite a while, I might have to put them back into the rotation again soon.
