This afternoon, I went into Toronto. I walked from Union Station to Queen St while perusing the underground shops in the PATH, met up with Lisa, checked out some yarn shops, ate some nachos, finished a sock…
…ogled some new yarn…
…had a nap on the bus ride home, and am now deciding between pouring a drink or pouring a bubble bath.
I’m going to miss the holidays.
amen. you deserve it. i had a similar day, except i did not leave my house. i finished a sock, played for hours with my spindle, caught up with old friends, ate yummy food and drank cider. (this is my first academic-calendar holiday in awhile.) thanks for setting a great example!
Why not a drink IN the bubble bath? Happy New Year!
Sounds like a heavenly day! Don’t you just love these lazy days between Christmas and New Years? I don’t want to go back to work…. this relaxing thing is treating me so nicely!
Sounds like a great day! one sock down, one to go.
Sounds like a very nice day!! Happy New year, may there be many more in 2009!!
I think I would have opted for BOTH the drink and the bath. Sounds like a nice way to round out an already pretty fabulous day!
Aye, I’m hoping you poured both. What a fabulous day and I’m loving the reds!
Happy New Year, Glenna!
What a wonderful day. I wished I lived close enough to Toronto to use public transit. For me it is a two hour drive so I REALLY enjoy my in-frequent trip to the big smoke.
That sounds delightful. Happy new year!
What a lovely way to spend a day – ‘good thing you did it yesterday, today the wind downtown was bitingly cold! Have a Happy New Year!
Have a happy new year! xx
Don’t forget the great streetcar ride – Bearded Dude even offered to share his whiskey!!
