The first three notes just happen to be

I’ve got book reviews in the works, new projects to post about, but also the whole “work day” thing and so I have to wait at least another day to post about the things I really do want to post about…

But in the mean time I feel as though this video is so awesome that even if you have seen it already, there is absolutely no reason not to watch it again. If only everyday life had more things like this in it.

  1. I love this video. I’ve seen it several times.

  2. Oh my! I have managed to never see this video before today. I must be in a media bubble… Thanks for sharing it and I can’t wait to see your new projects 🙂

  3. I hadn’t seen that one either!

  4. That video is exactly what I needed right now. Thanks for posting!

  5. Ditto–that video was exactly what I needed right now, also. Thank you so much for sharing it. I made my husband come in and watch it also. Spectacular!

  6. It just leaves one feeling delighted that suddenly such an experience opened in front of those weary commuters.

  7. Gives me goose bumps every time I see it. Thanks!

  8. Wow! Just what I needed. Thanks.

  9. It reminds me of the video made for Oprah for her beginning season this year. Check it out on her website if you can.

  10. wheee. had NOT seen that and thank you! it all brought a tear to this curmudgeon’s eye and I had to ponder. this is such a song and dance planet, if only the human race could focus more on that, and give in to it.. there would be no more war. anywhere. :^)

  11. This video makes me tear up with joy every time. Classic.

  12. I so love that video! Have you seen the one of the “synchronized swimmers” from Improv Everywhere? Hilarious!

Also – I finally managed to track down a Dec issue of Canadian Living (most stores still have their Halloween issues out!) – but I got my fingers on one, and SO COOL to see your name in print! Congrats again!

    (PS – it’s a lovely pattern, too!)

  13. Wow, I hadn’t seen this before! I love the way it expands, as if bystanders are being pulled into the dance. What a great space for something like that! I’ve seen a couple of much smaller improv-looking performances in NY, but nothing so choreographed. What a great day-brightener! Thanks!

I’m sitting here at work crying. I don’t know why it made me cry, but I thoroughly enjoyed watching it! 🙂

  15. Holy cow – that was seriously cool! I have to go forward this to oh – everyone I know!

  16. That makes me cry every time I watch it. And I’ve watched it several times. Crazy Aunt Purl posted the clip too and a long musing about why it has such a deep effect on us when we watch it, concluding that we live far too disconnected from pure joy and that such pure emotion catches us off guard when we see expressions of it, so we weep. Heck, I can’t even talk about it in detail without choking up! What kind of sap does that make me? I dunno, but I’m happy to be one!

  17. I love this video! But I’m trying not to cry at work these days. (It gets me every time.)

  18. Glad to know I’m not the only one who cries every time I see this! 🙂

  19. That vid is one of my all-time YouTube favourites, but it always bears re-linking.

    Wow, what a great video!
And you are so right, the world should have things like this happening as everyday occurrences.
If we get enough people that agree, we just might be able to start something huge!
    Thanks for the joy

  21. Thanks for sharing. Loved the video. Don’t know why, but I was moved to tears and reading the other comments, I was delighted to find out I am not the only one moved to tears.
