It’s back on

The granny squares are back! And I have honestly spent the last hour composing a blog post to you about it, on my day off, from my old slow clunky laptop. and then the internet ate it and now I am swallowing my rage about that and narrowly resisting smashing said laptop into tiny pieces.

To summarize, though, the granny squares are back on, I have 160 more borders to go, and I am trying these as a morning time pursuit in the 15 minutes or so I can manage to carve out between breakfast and running out the door for work. (Well, for the gym and then work, but still).

It’s going well so far, and I can’t wait to inch closer to the finish line. Here’s to more granny square progress sprinkled in throughout the week.

May your weekend be filled with delightful yarn-craft progress and zero computer rage of any kind. Happy Friday!

Glenna, you may have lost your blog post (bummer) but obviously, not
your mind. Leave it to you to know exactly how many more borders left to
crochet. Only 160, huh? How many of those suckers do you pump out in
    15 minutes?

Going to be a real humid one here this weekend. Just got back from an early 8 mile bike ride before the heat sets in for the day. I think sewing is going to be on my agenda this weekend. I may also start a pair of socks!

  3. Love, love, love grannie squares. What is cuter than a bunch of grannies?

  4. If it was WordPress that ate your post (I’ve had it happen to me!) then you may be able to recover it, since wordpress saves at least 20 revisions, so you can go back to a prior version that has most of your content. You’re probably using .org which I’m not familiar with (I use .com), but the features should be similar. There should even be a comparison section for different versions; I’ve watched, heart pounding, with my ‘current’ (BLANK!!) version in one column while scrolling through older versions on the right till I got all my text back!

    Dearest Glenna!
You should NEVER swallow rage! All if does is upset he stomach, hurt the throat and give one an intense headache. Instead, that the rage by the scruff of the neck and toss it out the front door. If it hangs on to the door frame by it’s claws, make it crochet several squares for you. That will tame said rage and it will not rear it’s ugly head again.

  6. Its looking great, at times I run as as fast can I can from Granny squares but there are times it is the perfect thing
